Temporary Entrance off of 147th Street
Starting tomorrow, September 15, all public access to the Midlothian Public Library building will be routed through a temporary entrance off of 147th Street while workers renovate our main entrance.
During the use of the temporary entrance, the parking lot will be available; however, some may find it more convenient to park on Kenton Avenue, as space permits. Curbside pickup of library materials is available for anyone for whom the walk to the temporary entrance presents a barrier or inconvenience.
We anticipate that our main entrance will reopen--complete with new sliding doors--October 12 or shortly thereafter. Please call us at (708) 535-2027 for updates on exact details as time goes along.
We appreciate your continued patience and flexibility with our ongoing construction and look forward to later this fall when we can share our newly refurbished building with you!
Wishing you safety and wellness,
Jennifer Cottrill, Library Director
