[ARCHIVED] Midlothian Public Library

Will reopen for limited in-building service tomorrow, February 4, at 9:00 AM.

Dear Residents of Midlothian:

As Region 10 (Suburban Cook County) has been released from tiered restrictions and is back in Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan, and as Cook County has reported a decline in cases in the Village of Midlothian over the past 14 days, Midlothian Public Library will reopen for limited in-building service tomorrow, February 4, at 9:00 AM.

Here is how you can access our services:

  • Public access to the building by advance appointment or by calling us from the parking lot.
  • Appointments available at all hours of regular operation (at 15-minute intervals).
  • 1 hour of in-building access per patron per day for all activities.
  • Available services: browsing and checkouts, computers, fax/scan/copy/print, library card applications, and study table use.
  • No more than 7 patrons will be admitted to the building at one time. Patrons without appointments who call from the parking lot will be admitted as space is available.
  • Curbside and homebound delivery of checked-out materials will continue. Please enter the building for fax, scan, copy, and print services.
  • Face coverings will be required, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.

If you have questions about how we can serve you at this time, please call us at 708-535-2027 or visit our website, www.midlothianlibrary.org/reopening.

Wishing you safety and wellness,

Jennifer Cottrill, Library Director
