Village of Midlothian receives CRF funding

The Village of Midlothian received $378,510.34 in funding through the State’s Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF).  These funds were made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a $2.2 trillion economic stimulus bill passed by Congress in March of 2020 in response to the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The purpose of these funds is to reimburse local governments and other agencies for expenses incurred due to the pandemic.   CRF-eligible expenses include expenses for disinfection of public areas and other facilities, personal protective equipment, and payroll expenses for public safety measures undertaken in response to COVID-19.
