Posted on: November 16, 2020[ARCHIVED] Midlothian Public Library
Due to the surge in coronavirus cases and the governor's recent strong guidance to Illinois residents to stay at home except for all but essential business, Midlothian Public Library will revert to curbside service only effective Monday, November 16.
In contrast with our period of curbside-only service earlier this summer, we will remain operational for our full regular hours. In addition, we will continue to provide the following services in curbside mode:
- Remote printing via our website and printing from flash drives.
- Photocopying, faxing, and scanning.
We will handle 10 pages total (for any of the above services) per patron per day. There will be no charge for these services.
In addition, we will process library card applications via curbside, as well as online and by U.S. mail.
If you have any questions regarding how we can continue to serve you while our doors are closed, please feel free to call us during our operational hours at (708) 535-2027, send us an email, or message us through the help button on our website, www.midlothianlibrary.org.
We will monitor public heath advice from the state and the county in order to make the determination regarding when we will reopen our doors to the public.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we all work together to look after the health of ourselves and our neighbors during this trying time.
