Message from The Mayor of Midlothian
April 21, 2020
I would like to say thank you to everyone for doing your part in slowing the spread of Covid-19. I know it hasn’t been easy but it is working. Please continue to follow CDC guidelines regarding personal safety. The following are some precautions that the CDC is recommending. Please visit their website for more information.
• Social Distancing
• Wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds
• Frequently wash surfaces
• Wear some sort of mask or face covering while in public
• Stay home if you are able to
As most of you know the village is doing their part to help ease the burden at this time. We have discontinued shut offs and late fees on water bills. We are postponing the due date that Village vehicle stickers are due and cutting the cost by 50%. We have also cancelled the April payment for the commuter lots. Please contact Village Hall if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for supporting the local businesses! They continue to need and appreciate your support.
At this time, I would like to also announce that yard waste and bulk pickup will resume Monday, April 27. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue.
As always our thoughts are with those affected by Covid-19.
Thank You,
Gary L’Heureux
