[ARCHIVED] Message from The Mayor of Midlothian

Message from The Mayor
COVID 19 UPDATE

Governor Pritzker has issued a Stay at Home order for the state of Illinois effective at 5 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2020.  I would like to take this opportunity to clarify what this means for us here in Midlothian.

• Please limit any private or public gatherings to less than 10 people.
• All essential businesses will remain open. This includes grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, pet stores, hardware stores, and more.
• All restaurants that provide delivery and take out will still be open.
• You will NOT be stopped by the police for leaving your home.

We strongly recommend following the Stay at Home order.  If we all continue to do our part, we can slow the spread of this virus.

I would like to thank the residents, the businesses and the Village employees for the cooperation we have received during this time.  We are a strong and proud community and we will get through all of this together!

The Governor’s Executive Order is on the Village website for all to view.

Thank You,
Gary L’Heureux
