[ARCHIVED] KMB Certificates of Appreciation

At the October 10th Board Meeting,

Karen Kreis and Helen Lekavich presented Keep Midlothian Beautiful Certificates of Appreciation to Ruth Rinehart & Theda Reed for their Random Acts of Kindness and Beautification in Midlothian. Ruth has created beautiful seasonal planted areas on the north and south side of 147th Street by the Midlothian train station. Theda Reed is our group's green thumb and can grow anything and everything and then donates many of her plants to beautify our village. Theda also drives almost daily to pick up trash from several locations and gardens in our community spending countless hours to beautify Midlothian. Although Betty Warner lives in Texas, she has generously donated pallets of soil, trees and numerous plants to the Rain Ready Community Garden. We are so thankful for their thoughtfulness, commitment and dedication to the Village they call home or treat like their home.
