Did you know that you can now text ComEd to report a power outage?

It’s always a good idea to review what to do in case of an emergency.  Please visit the ComEd website and/or the ComEd Facebook page to learn how you can text to report an outage and receive updates.  



From ComEd website:


Subscribe to the Outage Alerts program, administered by our partner AGENT511, and you can receive text messages that alert you of estimated restoration times and other important outage information. Please note that ComEd does not charge customers for this notification. Message and data rates may apply. This text alert program is a 24 x 7 notification system. You will receive a maximum of 7 ComEd outage text alert messages in a day.


Enroll by texting ‘ADD OUTAGE’ to 26633 (COMED). You will instantly receive a text message confirming your enrollment.
