[ARCHIVED] Midlothian RainReady is hosting an Open House

Midlothian RainReady is hosting an Open House to connect with residents, answer questions and provide information.

When: Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: Midlothian Public Library (14701 Kenton)

Midlothian is the nation’s first community to adopt a RainReady Plan. The first 10 households will receive a 6-pack of sandless sandbags valued at $40 to protect homes and property during a flood event. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District will be raffling a rain barrel, provide information on MWRD’s free rain barrel program and also answering questions.

There will be other giveaways and raffles as well as information prepared by the Center for Neighborhood Technology. Plan on attending this event to connect with neighbors and residents and find out more about the RainReady program. Any questions about this event or RainReady can be directed to Karen Kreis at 708-389-0200 x981. All are invited and encouraged to attend to this free event.
