[ARCHIVED] Is your family protected? Do you have a working smoke detector in your home?

Recently the Midlothian Fire Department partnered with the American Red Cross of Northern Illinois to deliver and install a new smoke detector in residents’ homes free of charge.

If you missed out on both days they were out, there is still time to get a new smoke detector!

While supplies last, one smoke detector per household will be available for pickup at Midlothian Fire Department Station #1 located at 14801 S. Pulaski Rd. In order to qualify you must be a resident of the Village of Midlothian (ID required), and you must fill out a brief form with Julie Roth in the Fire Department. Pickup is by appointment only to ensure someone is on hand to assist you, so please call Julie at (708) 489-4742 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
