New train schedule and road closures...
Metra will be repairing the railroad crossings at 2 different locations in Midlothian. These railroad crossings will be CLOSED during the below dates. Please make sure you are aware of alternative routes during the time frames below.
147th Street crossing will be closed from June 11, 2015 till June 18, 2015 between Waverly Ave. and Abbottsford Dr.
Pulaski crossing will be closed from June 18, 2015 till July 3, 2015 between 149th St and 150th St.
Metra is also advising of changes in the train schedule as well as a trial service they are starting to have express trains to Chicago on the weekends.
"As part of a trial initiative, weekend trains will be running express service starting Saturday, June 6th through Sunday, November 29th on the Rock Island."
