Deputy Chief Tavormina has been a member of the Midlothian Police Department since 2007 and is a United States Marine Corps Veteran. During his time with the Department Deputy Chief Tavormina has served as a Dispatcher, Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, South Suburban Emergency Response Team Operator and ILEAS Mobile Field Force Officer. Deputy Chief Tavormina has been integral in coordinating and implementing the Department’s firearms and rapid response training and procedures for the past 12 years. Deputy Chief Tavormina has also spent a great deal of time working with our schools, local businesses and community groups to increase awareness and safety in the community.
