[ARCHIVED] Midlothian Public Library

Dear Village of Midlothian Residents:
As we have continued to monitor the decline in daily new coronavirus cases in both Suburban Cook County and in Midlothian, we are taking measured steps to reopen the library just a little bit more. As of last week, our doors are now unlocked for walk-ins during all operational hours. Appointments are encouraged, but not required, for computers and study tables. Additionally, we are expanding our capacity to 15 patrons at one time.

The following safety precautions will remain in place:
  • Face coverings that snugly fit over both nose and mouth are required at all times.
  • Computer help is only offered from 6 feet away.
  • One hour time limit per patron per day.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult age 18+.
  • No food or drink.
  • The library cannot make change for the copier, printer, or fax machine. Please bring small bills $5 or less, coins, or a credit/debit card.
Curbside pickup and homebound delivery of materials are still available.
Call us any time at (708) 535-2027 or message us using the Help Button on our website, www.midlothianlibrary.org  if you have questions about how we can serve you. Thanks!

Wishing you safety and wellness,
Jennifer Cottrill, Library Director
